Life isn't meant to be easy for anyone. In life, we are at one point or the other, faced with difficult challenges we are meant to overcome.
Some overcome these hurdles while others are unfortunate not to get past their challenges.
This is what determine how successful or unsuccessful an individual is going to be in life.
Some of us are going through a lot of difficulties in life. We might have even thought of giving up at one point or the other.
That's why today, I present 6 of our celebrities who overcame their challenges and are now the successful persons we love and admire today as it'll further motivate us to push harder to attain our goals.
1. Timaya
Back on the days, Timaya was a great 'hustler,' a plantain seller to be precise.
The Timaya we all know and admire today was a plantain seller who lived with a lady who took him in after his landlord sent him packing back then in Port Harcourt.
However, see where today got him;
2. Patoranking
His real name is Patrick Nnaemeka. Patrick didn't find all things rosy back in the days unlike today.
Infact, the 2014 Headies Award Next Rated Artiste, while collecting the award revealed that he was a brick layer and rat poison seller on the street of Lagos.
He virtually rose from nothing to the star he is today.
But look at him now;
3. Mr P and Rudeboy
These two are considered one of the best artists in Africa.
Although, they went through a lot before the money started flowing in.
Peter once worked as a supermarket attendant while Paul did some electrical repairs for money.
See how they are today;
4. Mercy Johnson Okojie
Don't be surprised to see a female here. Yes, being a female doesn't exclude anyone from working hard for your own money like the actress.
The Nollywood Actress once opened up on her life before the fame.
According to her, asides from once living in an uncompleted building, she once worked as a maid just to make ends meet.
Today, see how she is;

5. Don Jazzy
Before Don Jazzy became famous and one of the best music producers in Nigeria, the Mavins boss moved to London back in 2000 after his uncle invited him.
He did various jobs including working at McDonalds as a security guard while trying to 'hit it big.'
All this goes to say that hardwork pays and we should never give up in life.
