If you are a lover of super cars, you might be familiar with the McLaren brand, but you may not have heard about this super-cool super car; the Speedtail.
The first thing about this beauty is the fact that the door button is not conspicuous, as a little button that allows you access into the car is carefully hiding away.
However, when you eventually locate this “hidden treasure of a button”, the door majestically opens automatically, and it also closes automatically with the push of a button from the inside when you enter the car.
Now this is amazing guys! If you are the driver of this car, you get to sit right in the middle of the car, and have got two seats on both sides for two passengers.
Look at what you have inside the boot of this car. First, you get a 24kt gold set of tools. So, when you McLaren breaks down on the side of the road, you wouldn’t only get to fix your car, but you will fix it in grand style. I hope you don’t ever get to need to bring those sets out in some parts of the world.
Next, you get a customized luggage from McLaren. This matches the interior of the car, has the McLaren badge, carbon fibre, and the interior reveals some beautiful stitching in the shape of the car.
Let me shock you a little. The paint of this car has real diamond dusts, which gives it some amazing specks. Just this type of paint job; having diamond dust in the paint of your car; will cost you an extra $130,000!
McLaren went a step further to improve on the performance of this car. They incorporated a design detail for the tires in the front to reduce drag. This is made of carbon fibre.
The car maker also took away the side mirrors on this car and replaced them with retractable cameras. These cameras are designed to go in when you are going on high speed.
The tyres at the back have shiny chrome wheels, and this will cost you an extra $13,000. This looks cool, even though it is super unusual to see chrome wheels on a hypercar.
The McLaren Speedtail is “wrapped” with so much gold. You have yet another 24kt gold in the engine bay, and its main function is to retract heat. However, you don’t need to worry about the security of this gold, as only a certified McLaren specialist can access the engine.
Yet another 24kt gold! This is located at the rear under of the car, surrounding the exhaust pipes. Now that is super cool!
For your buttons and your consoles, they are located above your head. You have the “Start/Stop”, “Drive, Neutral and Reserve” buttons. You also have your velocity button.
On either side of your steering wheel are two giant touch screens, with which you can control everything in this car, just with the touch of a finger.
The McLaren Speedtail has a hybrid engine; with a twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor, and altogether it gives you over 1,000 HP, and this would give you a top speed of over 400 km/h.
If you ever get to see one of this car on the road anywhere, then you are super lucky, and this is because only 106 would be made in the world, and this very McLaren Speedtail is really special because it is Chassis Number 2; this means that this the second Speedtail to roll off the production line.
Wait until I tell you the price of this car. This very McLaren will cost you a whopping$4,000,000 to buy!!! Would you buy one if you had the money?
