Fifteen individuals suspected of internet fraud were apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Zaria, Kaduna State.
The arrests were made outside Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, based on credible intelligence indicating their involvement in fraudulent activities.
Seized from them were various electronic devices such as cell phones and laptops.
Following their apprehension, the suspects were swiftly transferred to the Kano Zonal Command of the EFCC for further investigation.
Once the investigation concludes, the EFCC intends to bring charges against them in court, ensuring that they face legal consequences for their alleged crimes.
