Arsenal have finally agreed a deal with Ajax to sign their defender, Jurrien Timber, Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports.
The Gunners will pay a €42million fixed fee and a further €5m in add-ons.
Timber has already sorted out personal terms with the North London side on a five-year contract.
He will now undergo a medical in the coming days before the transfer is officially announced.
Timber came close to moving to England’s top flight last summer, but eventually snubbed a move to Manchester United.
However, the Dutchman is very happy to work under Mikel Arteta and is close to realizing that dream.
