Some presumed Fulani herders have consumed around ten sections of land of cashew ranch, close to Wakili Fulani town, Kajola Ayete, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
SaharaReporters discovered that the ranch, having a place with a 90-year-old Yoruba man, Chief Oyewole, was copied in light of the fact that the nonagenarian was one of the individuals who had grumbled about the crimes of Fulani herders in his town.
Our journalist assembled that seven young people on Wednesday went to the Fulani settlement to educate Wakili, the Fulani chief in the region, about some crimes his youngsters were doing and welcome him to the royal residence of a customary innovator in the town.
Our source anyway said that on getting to the town, Wakili and his men shot four ranchers and immediately went to consume the homestead near his settlement.
Affirming the improvement to SaharaReporters, Chief Saubana Omileke Oyewole, Odomofin of Ayete, said the ranch that was annihilated has a place with his senior sibling.
He depicted Wakili as a beast in Ayete, while comparing him to the Seriki Fulani of Igangan, Alhaji Saliu Abdulkadir, whose house and vehicles were as of late consumed by certain young people in Igangan and needed to escape the local area.
The incendiarism assault followed a seven-day final offer given by a Yoruba lobbyist prominently known as Sunday Igboho to Fulani herders in the region to leave, reprimanding them for the spate of kidnappings and killings in the territory.
