The Just concluded elections in the United States of America is still generating a lot of reactions from around the world. While a lot of world leaders have called to congratulate the President elect, Mr Joe Biden, the incumbent president, Donald Trump has refused to Concede defeat and congratulate his opponent.
To this end, Mr Joe Biden while speaking On Tuesday to his supporters in Delaware described the actions of Donald Trump as an embarrassment that will not help Trump's legacy. He said;
"The Refusal of Trump to concede the election which he clearly lost is an embarrassment that will not help his legacy."
Joe Biden also went ahead while assuring his teeming supporters in Delaware that he believes Trump and the Group of Republicans will eventually acknowledge his victory.
He also stated that irrespective of the Presidency's support or not, transition of power would be smooth. He said "The Trump Administrations refusal to initiate the transition process does not change the dynamic at all in what we are able to do".
It will be recalled that Mr Trump has refused to concede defeat In the just concluded election and instead has promised to challenge the results at the United States supreme court.
