The 9 Brigade of the Nigerian Army has captured a Corporal, Omoh F, who was gotten on video beating a lady at an Oshodi part of the United Bank of Africa in Lagos.
The Spokesman for the 9 Brigade, Major Olaniyi Osoba, affirmed this to The PUNCH on Monday.
"I can affirm to you that he has been kept and examinations are progressing," Osoba said.
Prior, a woman tweeted on Monday how she was whipped with a belt by the corporal.
Tweeting with her handle, @vels20, she asserted that the trooper had attempted to bounce an ATM line yet she tested him.
She further expressed that this infuriated Corporal Omoh who eliminated his belt from his abdomen and lashed her.
She tweeted, "I was simply attacked by a military authority early today 26/10/2020 at the ATM remain of UBA at their Oshodi branch. I am as yet shaking and crying as I compose this since I have never felt this path in all my years. I'm likewise terrified composing this since he undermined me.
"In this way, my life is your hands Nigerians. I was in the ATM line and this military authority requested that I move so he could pass. I inquired as to whether he was in the line that there is a line, he requested that I move. I moved and kept inquiring as to whether he was in the line.
