Former Manchester United goalkeeper, De Gea could join Fiorentina this summer transfer window after his move to Genoa collapsed.

Recall that De Gea was linked with a move to Serie A side earlier this summer but his wage demands proved a stumbling block.

Fiorentina are confident they can sign De Gea, who is currently a free agent.

The Spaniard has been without a club since leaving Manchester United last summer.
