The newly-deployed Zamfara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Sani Mustapha, has pledged his unwavering support in the fight against banditry and other forms of criminality in the state.
Mustapha made this known when he presented his letter of credence to the State Governor, Dauda Lawal, stating that his men were fully prepared to combat bandits and other criminal elements in the state.
Accompanied by members of the management team from the Zamfara State Command, the State Commandant received a warm welcome from the executive governor.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Sani Mustapha delivered the letter of credence to the Governor and reiterated his unwavering support in the battle against insecurity and lawlessness in the state.
He emphasized that the NSCDC operatives in Zamfara State are determined to eliminate all criminal elements in collaboration with other sister agencies.
The NSCDC boss pledged that the state capital would soon experience absolute peace, assuring that he would work closely with other security agencies to fight banditry.
In response, Governor Dauda Lawal urged the State Commandant to collaborate with other sister agencies and do everything possible to ensure a crime-free state, particularly in the state capital, Gusau.
The Governor assured the State Commandant of providing all necessary assistance as deemed fit.
