Barely 2 days to presidential election Former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, has urged the Southeast to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar on Saturday.
Ihedioha speaking during a town hall meeting organised by PDP youths tagged: “Youths and students as catalysts for PDP’s 2023 general election” in Owerri, the state capital said Atiku’s victory would resolve the anger in the Southeast’s people caused by marginalisation.
While emphasizing on the need to unify the country Ihedioha said the youths should not make the mistake of voting for another party that will compound the woes of the nation promising that PDP will win twenty-five percent across the States plus FCT,
He however condemned the insecurity situation in the state calling on Nigerians to vote in the president that will restore security so the citizens will have access to their villages with out fear of harassment or intimidation
