Algeria will be without defender, Abdelkader Bedrane for Tuesday’s international friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Bedrane, 30, sustained an injury in the Desert Foxes’ 1-0 win against Syli Nationale of Guinea last Friday.
According to information on the official website of the Algeria Football Federation, the centre-back sprained his ankle in the encounter.
Bedrane returned to his Saudi Arabia club, Damac, for further treatment on Sunday.
The former Esperance player has been capped ten times by the North Africans.
He was part of the team that won the FIFA Arab Cup in 2020.
Head coach, Djamel Belmadi is expected to field a strong side against the Super Eagles after he gave a number of newer players a run-out against Guinea.
