In 1996, a vigilante group's public burning of Rashied Staggie was the final straw.

Despite suffering a setback in their leadership with Staggie's passing, the gang has continued to traffic in illegal substances and has even formed alliances with other criminal organizations, such as the Sicilian mafia and the Chinese triads.
