Governor Uzodinma Should Temporarily Leave IMO State For Safety Reasons

 There have been different reactions following the death of Commander Ikonso. Ikonso was a commander of the Eastern Security Network which is a militia of the IPOB.

According to reports, Ikonso was killed alongside 6 other people in a joint operation by Nigerian Security forces. Ikonso was accused of being the brain behind many attacks on public facilities in the southeast.

Following the death Of Ikonso, many aggrieved IPOB members have vowed to carry out a reprisal attack. According to the Punch, IPOB members have warned the governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma, saying that he'll pay for the killing of Ikonso.

Remember that just yesterday, his house located in his hometown was attacked by unknown gunmen and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed. However, what this means is that the governor may not be safe.

However, after checking different factors, I must advise that Governor Hope Uzodinma should tighten his security or leave the state temporarily because of security and safety reasons.

In conclusion, due to the recent threat and attack on his house, it's advisable that Governor Uzodinma tightens his security or temporarily leave IMO for his safety.
