Gov. Hope Uzodimma has named the newly constructed and commissioned Federal Secretariat/Ph road after President Mohammadu Buhari as a sign of appreciation and a mark of respect for the person of Mr. President.
The act of naming roads after some individuals or personalities that has distinguished themselves in various acts or fields of endeavors is never a misnomer or a misfit. Oftentimes, this singular honor is usually credited to the dead as a way of immortalizing them but it has become obvious that we do not have to wait for men and women of great accomplishments to die before we celebrate them or immortalize their names or legacies for generations yet unborn and this is what Gov. Hope Uzodimma has demonstrated.
Imo state and Gov. Hope Uzodimma aren't the first to have tolled the path of immortalizing wonderful males and females whose contributions are eminent and beneficial to their on the spot groups. Previous administrations within the nation had at one factor or the opposite renamed establishments, roads and other government owned offices after some of its beyond leaders and administrators or individuals of notable reputation just as a way of announcing thanks for all they've accomplished. Unfortunately, this honorary gesture has been reduced to a baby’s play and its aim ruined for egocentric motives.
President Muhammadu Buhari no doubt has proven plenty guide in imo kingdom in appointments, empowerments, protection, federal projects among many different things. This is without bringing up his massive strides inside the South East Zone specially the 2nd Niger Bridge under production. In the light of all these, it's miles simplest but a mark of appreciation and an act to similarly make stronger the binds among the state and the federal authorities and this we're thankful to Gov. Hope Uzodimma for doing.
Gov. Hope Uzodimma has continuously verified his mastery of country wide politics and at each opportunity connects imo state to the federal government of which the outcomes have become glaring and in no distant time the state and Imolites will gain from this goodwill.
