PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the death of Muhammadu Gambo Jimeta, a one-time Inspector General of Police whose transition was announced Thursday evening.
President Buhari in an articulation gave by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu in Abuja the previous evening, passed on the sympathies of his family and that of the public authority and individuals of Nigeria to the group of the perished.

He depicted the late break police criminologist as "a man of extraordinary boldness, acumen and a genuine Nigerian Statesman," adding that "Today, Nigeria lost an incredible child. He lived for the country and presented energetically."
"May Allah favors his spirit and offer grit to the deprived family, the public authority and individuals of Adamawa State to bear this unsalvageable misfortune," President Buhari asked.
