President Muhammadu Buhari has asked Nigerians to cease from activities and remarks that could imperil the solidarity and progress of the country.
The president, who said this in Abuja yesterday on the event of the current year's Armed Forces Remembrance Day, helped Nigerians to remember the need to watch the solidarity of the country which he said was "succeeded at incredible expense".
He said "Nigeria's solidarity lies in her variety".
President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on the event laid wreaths in celebration of the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the National Arcade Eagle Square in Abuja to respect fallen legends.
Dignitaries who additionally laid wreaths at the function incorporate Senate President Ahmed Lawan, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila of the House of Representatives, and Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Tanko Muhammad, among others.
