President Joe Biden has contributed immensely to the movement of legalizing same-sex marriage. In May 2012, gay rights activists pushed for months to add a marriage-equality plank to the Democrats party's platform. Joe Biden was one of the President Barack Obama Cabinet members and he announced that he supported the right of gay and lesbian couples to marry.

 

 

In an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" the vice president who's now the president concur to gay and Lesbian marriage. According to him, he said "“I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties,” Biden said.

 

 

Both President Biden and Harris has laid out the vision for what they would do in the white house which one of them is the full support of gay and lesbian Marriage. They have decided to follow Obama's lead and continue from where he stopped
