7 Truth About Hell Fire That People Do Not Know

Some people say hell fire does not exist, some others say hell is a state of mind but what does the Bible says about this place of torment? I will give us two scriptures first for at the mouth of two or three witnesses a matter shall be established:

"And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire"(Matt. 18:9). In line with the afore scripture, Jesus said in Mark 9:46 that the fire of hell is not quenched and the worms there doesn't die. If Jesus talked about hell fire and you don't in hell fire, then you are not a Christian because a Christian is not one who goes to church but a faithful follower of Christ.

Let's look at the truth about hell fire so many people do not know:

1. Hell fire was meant only for and not human beings but any human being who behaves like the devil by living in sin will surely land there. It's sad to say but many are there now: "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matt. 25:41). You can see from that scripture that God did not make hell fire for human but it was prepared for the devil and his angels [demons], it's an everlasting fire. Jesus calls it eternal punishment (V.46).

2. Hell fire is a place of torment: in Luke 16:24, the rich man was in hell fire: "And he [the rich man] cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." Mark the word FLAME...if hell is the grave or a state of mind like some people suppose, what is flame doing where the rich man was?

3. Hell fire is an everlasting torment: the word everlasting means something that has no end. Hell is not for a day, it's not 5years, not even for 100years but forever and ever (Matt. 25:46).

4. Hell fire is a place of regrets: there will be so many "had I knows" in hell fire. People who will be in hell fire will recount how many opportunities they had to repent but did not because of stubborness of heart (Luke 16:27-30).

5. Hell fire is a place of constant fasting: there is no food, no water in hell fire. That is why the rich man was asking Father Abraham for water in hell fire but he got none (Luke 16:24). The Bible says, it is a place of gnashing of teeth (Matt. 13:42).

6. Hell fire is also a place of prayer: it is a place you will pray and pray but it will never be answered. The rich man prayed in hell fire but it was never answered (Luke 16:19-25).

7. If you are not born again: if you are not saved, you will go to hell no matter how many times you go to church or you pray and give offering in church. You can even pay your tithes but if you are not born again, one of your leg is already moving toward hell fire (Jn. 3:18).

Are you reading this article now and you don't have Jesus in your life. Having is Jesus in your life is what makes you a Christian, not going to church alone. Acts 4:12 says, the only Name that can save you is the Name Jesus!!! Not the name of your church, it cannot save you...I always tell people we don't have any wrong church, we only have wrong people [and doctrine] in the church. There's no church in heaven.

Please if you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ and you are still living in sin, hell fire awaits you but you can make a U-TURN now by accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour. If you want to do that, pray with me:

Lord Jesus, I come to you today, have mercy on me and set me free...wash me by your precious Blood and make me a new creation and help me to serve you till the end. Thank you Lord for saving me today... Amen.
