Nigerian Police Parade 201 Suspected Looters In Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has captured 201 associated marauders who exploited with the #EndSARS dissent to attack public and private distribution centers. 

Marching the suspects before newsmen, representative of the order, ASP Yusuf Mariam, said they were totally summoned under the watchful eye of six versatile courts on Wednesday 28th October, 2020. 

"It would be reviewed that after the wanton plundering and vandalisation of stockrooms inside the FCT, two days back, the wrongdoing battling exertion of the FCT Police Command prompted the capture of some speculated hoodlums cum pillagers," the PPRO said. 

"In continuation of its determined exertion to reestablish routineness, inside the last 48hours, the Command has captured and summoned a sum of 200 and one (201) suspected marauders including ladies and made recuperations of some plundered things, at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp-Kubwa, Kuje, Gwagwalada,Jabi and idu. All the suspects were charged under the watchful eye of six (6) portable courts on Wednesday 28th October, 2020. 

"The above advancement is a proof of the Command's resolute determination to additionally keep up harmony and security inside the Federal Capital Territory. The Command wishes to reaffirm that it won't yield until it has brought to book all criminal components inside the FCT. 

"On this note, the Commissioner of Police CP. Bala Ciroma is approaching benevolent occupants of the FCT to cease from taking part in any activity fit for causing breakdown of lawfulness, rather inhabitants should behave calmly and remain reputable.
