Legal Department Of LCC Tells Judicial Panel They Are Ready To Show Lekki Shootings Footage

 

The Management of the Lekki Concession Company has communicated status to show the recording of the shootings of #EndSARS dissidents at the Lekki cost door by warriors. 

The Head of the Legal Department of LCC, Mr Gbolahan Agboluwaje, made this known when he showed up before the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry for Restitution for Victims of SARS and related maltreatments and Other Matters on Friday. 

Agboluwaje noticed that the recording of the October 20 shootings of the #EndSARS dissenters by the warriors is accessible. 

He said there are long periods of accounts on the CCTV film. 

He said the LCC got a summons from the board on Wednesday, to show up before it, present the October 20 film, an examination report and some other record. 

He explained that while the "LCC is set up to air the recording before the board" however no analytical report or archive is accessible. 

"We have the recording. We don't have an examination report since we realize that examinations are progressing and we have not had the option to give any record. 

"We had a short notification and we brought what we had the option to lay our hands on," he added. 

Agboluwaje likewise advised the board that because of the short notification of the gathering, the Managing Director of LCC, Abayomi Omomuwa, would not have the option to affirm. 

He clarified that this is on the grounds that the organization was at this point to recruit an outer advice to speak to the MD.

Reacting, the Chairman of the nine-man board, Justice Doris Okuwobi (Retd.), conceded Agboluwaje's solicitation for a short intermission.
