Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje Reinstates Salihu Yakasai, As Media Aide

 

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje , on Wednesday night , requested the restoration of his Special Adviser on Media , Salihu Yakasai . 

The PUNCH had written about October 11 , 2020 that Yakasai thrashed the President , Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd . ) , for not tending to Nigerians in the midst of public shock just as long periods of on the web and disconnected fights against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force . 

Yakasai , who tweeted through his handle , @ dawisu , had said the President has no compassion for Nigerians by his inaction . 

Responding in an announcement , the Kano State Government had portrayed Yakasai ' s remarks as " unguarded expressions" and suspended him " with prompt impact ". 

In any case, in a tweet on Wednesday , the state government , @ KanostateNg , composed , " H . E Governor Dr . Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR has endorsed the reestablishment of his Special Adviser on Media , Salihu Tanko Yakasai from his suspension . " 

Ganduje had in April sacked the state ' s Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mu ' azu Magaji , for praising the passing of the Chief of Staff to the President , Abba Kyari.
