I Never Sent Thugs To Attack #EndSARS Protesters, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Says

 

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has denied reports that he supported a few hooligans to upset the serene fights by #EndSARS nonconformists in Alausa, the state capital. 

An announcement by Gbenga Omotosho, the state's Commissioner for Information peruses: "The consideration of the Lagos State Government has been attracted to some unsubstantiated reports in the online media charging that the administration supported hooligans to disturb the #EndSARS fight. This is false and devilish. 

"Such wild claims were clearly created by adversaries of harmony and deliberateness to prepare conclusions against the administration, which has been doing all that conceivable to determine the emergency by relating to our adolescents in their endeavors towards police changes. 

"Lead representative Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been lecturing harmony. So has the Deputy Governor, who tended to the dissenters last Friday. The Governor has tended to them twice – at the Lekki Toll Gate and at the House of Assembly. He even conveyed a bulletin and walked with the adolescents subsequent to guaranteeing them that he felt their agonies and that it was genuine for them to dissent." 

"The adversaries of progress, who are distraught that Lagos isn't ablaze, are the ones energizing the diabolical falsehoods that the administration was supporting hooligans to assault our fighting adolescents. They have been posting on the web-based media pictures proposing that a Lagos Bus Service Ltd. (LBSL) vehicle was passing on hooligans". 

"The transport being referred to was on its ordinary activity when it ran into a gathering of dissenters. The travelers, who felt jeopardized, hurried out of the transport. 

"They got back to proceed with their excursion after the charging swarm had left. As an administration, we will never support thuggery or any demonstration of brutality that may put the lives and organizations of Lagosians in danger. We are emphatically dedicated to guaranteeing that our adolescents, who have rampaged to air their perspectives, are very much secured." 

"Furthermore, the Governor visited the President to delicate their five-point request. He guaranteed that all the dissidents captured by the police were delivered genuinely".
