The Lagos State Government on Monday said Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo didn't get his realities right when asserted that the state government has wouldn't sign the Amotekun bill into law.
Adams during a meeting at the end of the week had said while the other five states in the South-West had marked the Amotekun bill into law, just Lagos state has would not do as such for puzzling reasons.
"The cycle of Amotekun began in July 2019 and the South-West lead representatives consented to set up Amotekun. Five lead representatives in the South-West have marked the bill of Amotekun into law however Lagos State has not marked its bill into law" Adams had said.
Be that as it may, talking in a visit with Daily Independent, Gbenga Omotosho, the Commissioner for Information said the state government passed the bill into Law in March this year.
"He didn't get his realities right. Lagos State has marked Amotekun into law. It was done in March this year. You can discover yourself as a writer. He (Gani Adams) might not have that data" Omotosho said.
