An Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates' Court, on Wednesday, requested the remand of a 50-year-elderly person, Usman Tajudeen, in the Ado-Ekiti Correctional Center for supposed pollution.
The police examiner, Inspector Monica Ikebuilo, told the court that the litigant supposedly contaminated a four-year-old young lady on August 21, 2020, in Ikere-Ekiti.
Ikebuilo stated, "The litigant and the casualty's folks were neighbors. The casualty's mom saw that blood was coming out from the casualty's reproductive organs. At the point when the mother asked her, she admitted that the respondent welcomed her to his home.
"The offense repudiates Section 31(2) of the Child Right Law of Ekiti State, 2012."
She encouraged the court to remand Tajudeen in the remedial focus forthcoming legitimate guidance from the workplace of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The court didn't take the request of the respondent.
Boss Magistrate Adefumike Anoma deferred the case till September 18 for notice.
Anoma, in another turn of events, requested the remand of a 31-year-elderly person, Ajayi Paul, for supposedly burglarizing a man of his bike on August 29, 2020, in Ado Ekiti, and suspended the case till September 18 for notice.
