There has been several mixed reactions rocking social media after a young man shared a shocking story of a white lady from Scotland who visited Nigeria to see her lover who she met through Facebook, but has not gone back for the past 6 months. Leaving everyone wondering if she has been charmed by her Nigerian boyfriend or staying back at her own will.
This was made known through a Twitter user with the handle @iamnobodyex, he shared the story and revealed that the said Nigerian lover is a 400Level student of University of Benin, Edo State. He further stated that the lovers met on the popular social networking app Facebook, and had dated for a while before she decided to come down from Scotland to be with him.
However, the beautiful lady has remained in Nigeria for the past 6 months and still counting. According to the post he shared, the white lady has refused to travel back to her country and she is gradually adjusting to Benin lifestyle.
After sharing the story, it immediately went viral and generated lots of several reactions from his comment section, as some wondered if the Scottish lady was actually with her Nigerian lover out of her own will or if there is something else behind her staying back.
One of those who commented with the handle @ugybabe2020 further asked out of curiousity "If it was this guy that had gone over to Scotland to meet her, would people still be asking the same question?"
While another with the username @uncle_clique clearly said "I don't trust the Benin people."
