Manchester United vice-chairman Ed Woodward is reportedly considering a move for Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino if Jose Mourinho gets sacked.
The Red Devils have struggled in all competitions since the start of the present season as they have gone four games at Old Trafford without a win.
They were forced to a goalless draw by struggling Spanish League side Valencia in their Champions League encounter on Tuesday, October 2.
However, the club’s chiefs are not comfortable with the way things are going at the club – especially with the Paul Pogba – Mourinho rift.
Tribal Football quoting the Independent report that they are more comfortable hiring the Argentine as against Zinedine Zidane who was earlier tipped to become the next manager at the club.
Zidane’s job at Real Madrid really required such different dynamics, so different to the entire project entailed at United.
