Barcelona Star Set to Join 1 Premier League Side and He Will Earn a Whooping N90m-a-week

Manchester United are reportedly closing in on signing Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti this summer according to reports in Catalonia.
The Spanish League campaigners are said to be stalling on meeting the Frenchman’s demands of an improved pay as against what he is currently earning at the Camp Nou.
Umtiti joined the Blaugrana in the summer of 2016 from Olympique Lyon £22.50 million in a five year deal, and he has become an instant success for the club in less than two seasons – developing solid partnership with Gerard Pique at the back. However, the defender has grown to become a mainstay in the current Barca team, and he has been penciled down as an important part to rejuvenate their starting line-up moving forward.
Meanwhile, Spanish news outlet, Sport, claim the Catalan club are not planning to meet Umtiti’s demands of becoming the club’s second-best paid at the club behind Lionel Messi.
The 24-year-old wants to be on the same level with Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta in terms of wages, but the board cannot justify that.
In view of this, the Red Devils are willing to meet his £52 million buy-out clause and pay him £175,000-a-week, and the current La Liga leaders will be fighting a battle to keep the defender.
The Sun reports that Barcelona begin contract negotiations with their players two years before their current deal is due to expire, meanwhile, Umtiti still has a contract with the Camp Nou arena till 2021.
However, with his buy-out clause now deemed “reasonable” in the current market, they have been forced to act sooner than anticipated.
He has already won two titles with the Catalan club after joining them in 2016 – winning Copa del Rey title in the 2016–17, and then the Spanish Super Cup in 2016.
