The gallant operatives of the Nigerian
Army have recovered a Vickers Main Battle Tank and a Vickers BL howitzer
captured by Boko Haram last year in Borno State.
According to SaharaReporters, Nigerian troops fighting insurgency in the
North-east, have on Wednesday, wildly jubilated as they recovered a
Vickers Main Battle Tank (VMBT) and a Vickers BL (VBL) howitzer captured
by Boko Haram last year in Gwoza, Borno State.
It was gathered that the military troops on the "Operation Deep Punch", also killed a Boko Haram terrorist, who was manoeuvring the tank, as he made to flee. The VMBT and VBL were recovered intact.
