Lady who was abandoned by her father shares inspiring story

A young lady has shared an inspiring story about how she managed to change her life from the expectations her father had, which caused him to abandon her.

Jemimah Aniekebo was abandoned by her father who said she wouldn't amount to anything
A Nigerian lady identified as Jemimah Joseph Aniekebo, took to her Instagram page to share her touching story about how her father abandoned her mother because she couldn't have male children.

According to her, her father left them because he insisted that they wouldn't amount to anything.

Jemimah eventually struggled her way through school and is now a safety engineer, while also assisting her mum and sisters.

"My dad left us with practically nothing because to him girl child has no future, and that he can't invest in a girl child who would end up becoming a prostitute and so he left us to go look for a male child. My mum toiled to make sure,we all had good education,I paid my way through school by clearing grasses and even writing exams for people in school. Now, I'm a safety engineer assisting my mum and siblings the best way I can."
