After sometime in the UK, presidential staff are expecting President Buhari back in the country today.
The Punch quotes sources at the Presidential Villa in Abuja as saying on Friday, February 10 that the president was being expected this weekend and that presidential aides and officials of the Protocol Unit, including security operatives, had been put on the alert over the Buhari's imminent arrival.

“The President is expected back this weekend. We are expecting him to return either on Saturday or Sunday.
“As of now, we are not sure of the time of his arrival yet. The Protocol Unit will confirm that to us later,” a source said.
The Punch quotes another confident official as saying that the president would return on Saturday, February 11 afternoon if not in the morning.
Recall that Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman had told Channels television during the week that Buhari would soon return.

He said: “In a communication to the National Assembly, the President did not disclose when he is coming back but the President may be coming back sooner than people think.”
Meanwhile, there were reports of a rift between aides to President Muhammadu Buhari and the president's doctors.
It is alleged that the rift is over a possible return of the President this Saturday, February 11.
Presidency sources have said that President Muhammadu Buhari plans to return to Nigeria on Saturday after his test results came in “fine.” However, Mr. Buhari’s return remains uncertain as his team of doctors in the United Kingdom has yet to certify him fit to take on the significant burden of his office.
